I am 13 and started crocheting 2 years ago and I’m going to start a market with my best friend, this is so helpful since I don’t have access to many stores other than Walmart and they don’t have many options, I do have access to hobby lobby, do they have good prices on yarn and hooks? Mine are hard to use and my yarn often unravels while I’m working which is why I use chennile yarns instead

AI should be doing jobs too dangerous, too labour intensive, or too time consuming for humans. We're forced to put work before anything else so itd be nice to not only have our health but time to actually create and enjoy our lives! How many people suffer cause they simply dont have time/ability to idk do something fun or just talk, or sort through traumas and issues. I hate what AI is being used for, absolutely disgusting.

If it looks too good to be true, look for a video or other photos of the project to see it being made. Look for real reviews. Amazon is flooded with crochet books with AI generated covers with little to no substance in them.

I always keep the labels, but not on the yarn. I do swatches of them, and keep them all together in another basket😂😂

Never take those kind of comments to heart dear. Almost all of my yarns comes without labels. It’s just how it is. But it would be lovely and less headache if they do have labels. I recently bought cotton yarns, and they do have a label. But it’s in different language. Chinese characters, I believe. So, not really that helpful for me. But I keep them anyway, to keep them tidy, if anything else. 🤭

I keep all my sewing thread in a makeup case just like that one, with the little trays in it, all the accouterments fit in the bottom. One of my favorite storages.

These blankets are so pretty! I love the flower ones. Might have to add those to my long list of future projects. I help host a knitting and crocheting program at the county library where i work and we got the dollar tree hooks to be budget friendly. They seem like they are ok quality for beginners. :) They can learn and test it out then, if they would like, they can test other options. We got some hook and needle donations and u5t was so helpful!

I’m currently working on the Juniper and Oakes blanket. I have always wanted to try mosaic, but was intimidated. I decided to challenge myself and go for it, and I’m so glad I did. I am hooked on it now and can’t wait to finish this CAL and start working on one of her Christmas patterns.

As a crochet girly who already has a project bag, they usually have holes near the zipper which i use as a yarn feeder. This may just be the specific design i've gotten, but i have it anyways so might as well add that function
